Disaster Volunteer Reception Center Training Day One

A Disaster Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) is a group of volunteers who mobilize after a disaster to help coordinate the volunteer effort to help victims, etc.  At the VRC, spontaneous disaster volunteers fill out applications, are screened, matched with a disaster volunteer opportunity, and trained.  To find out if you’d like to be a part of our VRC team, please attend our two part training (day one lecture; day two hands-on).
