United Way Awards Five $1,000 Cash Prizes to Sweepstakes Winners

This year, during the $1,000 Sweepstakes, every donor who gave $1.00 per week (equal to $52 per year) during the United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties campaign received 50 chances to win.  Donors who increased their prior gift of $52.00 or more by $26.00 or more doubled their chances to 100 chances to win!  From December 6th thru December 13th, 2018, United Way’s “Prize Patrol” was busy dropping in on unsuspecting donors and adding some holiday cheer to their day with a check for $1,000!

This year’s winners were:  Rusty Borths of WestRock; Kurtis Bredda of Solarus; Carolyn Crider of Nekoosa Public Schools;  Angie Susa of Mid-State Technical College;  Marcia Wright of McMillan Memorial Library

The $1,000 Sweepstakes is made possible by our generous sponsors:  Aspirus, Heartland Farms, Inc., NextHome Partners and River Cities Bank.  We also thank WestRock for printing the big sweepstakes checks that each winner got to keep.  Thank you again to ALL our donors for making our 2018 Sweepstakes a success!
