BECAUSE OF YOU... Three simple words that perfectly describe the heartbeat of the United Way. Because of each and every one of you, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties positively impacts the lives of “1 IN 3” area residents.
My daily work is in real estate, where I am literally inside the homes of people from all walks of life. I have the opportunity to serve families who are dealing with life’s best moments, and their worst. Nearly every day I hear about services people receive that are part of United Way’s “Agenda for Change,” and how it has helped them in their time of need. These are OUR friends, families, neighbors and co-workers.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve as this year’s campaign chair, and it has helped me better understand how much impact United Way has in our community. Last year over 2,200 individuals/households financially supported the United Way, enabling them to help others have a better life.
