WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI – United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties is now distributing the 2026 Help Guide. Help Guides are distributed throughout south Wood County at nonprofit organizations, government offices, clinics, banks, gas stations, and churches.
The Help Guide tells how to connect to United Way’s 211 and what information can be received from 211, such as resources and referrals for addiction, childcare, clothing, educational services, food, housing and utilities, suicide and crisis lifeline, transportation, and more.
Elementary students at Assumption Catholic Schools, Port Edwards Public Schools, Nekoosa Public Schools, and Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools will also be sent home with a 2026 Help Guide.

Individuals who would like a copy of the Help Guide can:

- Call 715-421-0390 to have a copy mailed to you.
