United Way to Recognize Volunteers with National Volunteer Week Event

National Volunteer is April 21st – 27th, 2024, in celebration of volunteers and their impact, and to encourage others to get involved. During this year’s National Volunteer Week, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties Volunteer Center will host an appreciation event for United Way volunteers.

Community members who volunteered with United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties in 2023 are invited to attend a drive-through event at St. John the Evangelist Church (located at 320 Oak Street in Wisconsin Rapids) between 12:00pm and 1:30pm on Friday, April 26th. Each volunteer will receive a small gift as appreciation for their contributions to United Way’s efforts to strengthen our community.

Volunteers are vital to a thriving community, and United Way initiatives like Stuff the Desk, United We Can, and Day of Caring would be impossible without the help of so many dedicated individuals. Thank you to everyone who has made a difference by volunteering!
