First Time Campaigns

Welcome to the United Way team! United Way would like to congratulate you on being selected Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC). You are joining a select group of volunteers from across south Wood and Adams Counties, who are helping our friends and neighbors who need it most.

The following are some tips we think will help you get started.  If you ever need help or have questions, don't hesitate to call us or your Loaned Executive volunteer!

Send advance e-mails reminding staff members that campaign time is coming.

Place a surprise (something small) at each employee’s workstation.

Use payroll stuffers reminding employees of the campaign.

Provide free beverages for employees  during campaign.

Have all employees fill out and return pledge cards, regardless of if they give.

Invite United Way to speak at your workplace.

Place an order for our FREE promotional items, such as bookmarks, postcards, etc.
