United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties Announces Funding Allocations for 2023-2024

United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties recently announced it will distribute $445,700 in south Wood County and $38,000 in Adams County, for a total of $483,700, pending a successful fall campaign. Please note that dollars raised in each county are allocated in the county they are raised, unless noted otherwise by donor.

Earlier this year, United Way accepted funding applications for programs that address “Financial Stability” and “Safety Net Service.”  These programs will receive two year grants for 2023 and 2024. “Education” and “Health” programs are currently funded through 2023 and will be able to apply in 2023 for 2024-2025 funding.

“We’ve made these promises to our partner programs, now we need the community to help us deliver,” said Tari Jahns, CEO.  “The dollars we allocate to these programs come from our annual community campaign.  That is why it’s important we have a successful campaign, to help fill these needs.”
